Share Savings Accounts help members build financial security while establishing their membership with Riegel Federal Credit Union.

The Regular Share Savings Account is the primary account required for membership at Riegel Federal Credit Union.
A minimum deposit of $100.00 is required to establish and maintain membership. This deposit represents your share in the credit union. A one-time membership fee of $1.00 per person also applies.

Members may open up to nine secondary share savings accounts in addition to their regular share savings account.
These accounts do not require a minimum balance and are linked to your primary Share Savings account. This allows members to set aside funds separately and easily transfer money between suffix accounts.

Smart money habits start at a young age, which is why we offer our Building Blocks Youth Savings Accounts.
With the Riegel Youth Account, children learn the importance of saving early, and build a strong foundation for their financial future.
Children must be under the age of 18 and within Riegel’s field of membership to qualify for this account.
A minimum deposit of $25 is required to open a Building Blocks Youth Savings Account.

Holiday Club Accounts run from October 1 through September 30. Vacation Club Accounts run from July 1 through June 30.
You choose how much to save and how often to make deposits. At the end of the term, funds are automatically transferred into your Share Savings account.
